Enterprise Grange Awards Day April 30, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Richmond Grange on Alexander Reed Rd, Richmond.
This year the Town of Dresden has chosen David Probert to receive the award for Dresden. Dave has done much for our town over the last 30 years or more. We would like to take time at this event to honor and thank him for all he has done. We encourage Dresden citizens that know Dave or of his accomplishments to attend this meeting and thank him for his service to our community.
Dresden Town Office Hours: Mon 1-6 pm, Tues 10-5 pm, Wed 9-3 pm, Thurs 1-8 pm, Fri 9-1 pm, First Saturday of the Month 9-noon.
The Town Office is closed all legal Holidays. The Town Office will be closed Monday January 16th for the national holiday.
Transfer Station, Recycling Center & Swap Shop – 8 Recycle Court 737-4758 Open Thurs 1-4 pm, Sat 9-4 pm, Sun 9-1 pm
Bridge Academy Public Library 737-8810 Open Tuesdays and Thursdays 2-7 pm & Saturday 9-noon
Pownalborough Hall is located at the intersection of Routes 197 & 128 next to the fire station.
Dresden Fire/Rescue personnel will meet every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in Pownalborough Station. Truck / Station maintenance and any training or other events will be posted on the first Wednesday of the month. ALL members are urged to be present. New members are a great addition to the fire department and our community.
Dresden Fire Association will hold its monthly business meeting on Wednesday, December 07, at 7:00 p.m. in Pownalborough Hall. We are now doing our annual Christmas Tree Sales Fund Raiser at Pownalborough Station every WEEKEND from 9 – 5. The cost of the trees are $25.00 for 5’ – 7’. Any trees over 7’ will be $30.00. If you need more information or wish to make other arrangements to get a tree, please call 737-2566 and we will certainly try to help you out. We also still have Breast Cancer awareness T-shirts for sale at $20.00. Thank you for your continued support of our events.
Dresden Fire Department members will meet every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in Pownalborough Station. The schedule for truck/station maintenance, training or other activities will be posted on the first Wednesday of the month. All members are urged to attend.
Dresden Historical Society members will meet on the second Monday of December (12/12) at 6:30 p.m. in the Yellow Schoolhouse. We will be going over business pertaining to officers and making plans for our Chili/Chowder event for January. Any available members are urged to attend.
Dresden Planning Board will meet on Tuesday, December 06, at 6:30 p.m. in Pownalborough Hall. We will be having a discussion on the fee schedule. If you have any questions or want more information, please contact the Chairman, Jeff Pierce, at 441-3006 or leave a message at the town office.
Dresden Sno-Valley Riders will meet on Tuesday, December 13, at 6:30 p.m. in the Old Town House. We are still working on trail maintenance and will discuss any scheduled work sessions. Memberships are still ongoing, so if you would like to join as a family, individual or supporting business member, please contact Shari at 737-2566 or attend any of our monthly meetings.
RSU2 Exploratory/Review Committee members will be meeting on Thursday, December 8, at 6 p.m. in Pownalborough Hall. Discussions will contain information in regard to the contract and the budget. The meetings are open to anyone who would like to sit in on a session.
